Mr. Brooks has had a lengthy and successful Project Management/Asset Management career.  While at Stirling Properties he spearheaded management and operation activities for a three state portfolio of over 1 million square feet of retail and office property that included the Franklin Haney Company’s Municipal Complex in Birmingham, AL.

His experience includes working with both Landlords and tenants on lease, sale, development, and management transactions.  His background across disciplines and asset types provides a unique value to customers.

Recent Notable Transactions:

Plaza Park Apartments:  Led investor group in acquisition of 78 unit apartment complex in New Orleans.  Value add through expansion and cost reductions.   Total consideration $4,040,000.
Bern Mas Apartments: Led investor group in acquisition of 92 unit apartment complex in New Orleans.  Stabilized operations and secured HUD guaranteed financing in first year.
Southwest Mall: Re-development of prominent community shopping center in McComb, Mississippi.  Secured new leases with Office Depot, Hibbett Sports and Petsmart to re-tenant vacant anchor spaces.  Re-development also included parking lot, façade and lighting improvements.  Finished product enabled refinancing and cash out to partners of over $1 million.

 

Westland Plaza:  Re-development of historic shopping center in Jackson, MS.  Utilizing available funding sources as well as incentives from façade renovation program added two national credit tenants and completed major improvements to parking lot, building façade, roof, exterior lighting and signage.  Finished product enabled refinancing with permanent debt and stability.
